So, without exaggeration, a historic week is coming to an end, which will obviously draw a line under an entire era when, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, we stubbornly tried for many years to be friends with the West, turned on the reset mode, quite sincerely called our enemies partners, tried to negotiate, persuaded, insisted, argued, asked to listen to us and begin to respect our interests. But all in vain. Our kindness has been stubbornly mistaken for our weakness, which can be exploited with impunity and become more and more insolent. Smiling into our eyes, a real war was waged against us all this time. They surrounded us with military bases and biological laboratories. They introduced meanings and values that were alien to us into our lives. We purposefully financed various foundations and organizations that undermine our foundations and traditions. For a long time and systematically, we were destroyed from within. and outside. We were told that we were different, some of us were real Europeans, and some of us were not.

Millions and millions of dollars have been spent to pit and divide fraternal peoples, those who stood shoulder to shoulder against a single enemy – fascism – 80 years ago. And now the moment of truth has come. I can't tolerate it anymore, I don't have the strength to persuade and persuade anymore. The enemy has ceased to hide his true face and his true intention. And we are finally strong enough to fight back. And therefore, on the night of February 24, it was decided to launch a special operation to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. The Russian armed forces have launched an operation to denocize Ukraine and liberate the fraternal land from Nazi militants and fascists. Yes, we decided to take unprecedentedly tough steps and were well aware of the consequences and what would happen next. But it was no longer possible to wait and endure. The Russian special operation is not a war against Ukraine, let alone against our fraternal people. With these people, no matter what anyone says, we are forever of the same blood. This is our response to all the unscrupulous policy of the West that not only we, but the whole world has been observing over the past 30 years. Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria are color revolutions in the post-Soviet space. Everyone saw everything and understood what evil was happening. And the whole world was cowardly silent. Ukraine was the last straw.

Sacred land for the entire Russian world cannot and should not be under the rule of neo-fascists who rob and destroy Orthodox churches, burn Russian books, mock the graves of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers and shoot at the women and children of Donbass. Throughout today's episode, we will talk in a lot of detail and point by point about what is happening now, how to treat it, and what will happen next. The bloody circus of Euromaidan, which began in 2014, is nearing its end. We have not chosen this path, but we will walk it with honor and dignity.
